History of SOHL

January is  “Sanctity of Human Life” month! Specifically, the 22nd is “Sanctity of Human Life Sunday.” President Ronald Reagan proclaimed and designated the first National Sanctity of Human Life Day back in January of 1984! This was also during the 11th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade (the legalization of abortion in all 50 states). When Roe v Wade was overturned in June 2022, the work of pregnancy centers didn’t disappear; women and men will always need assistance during an unplanned pregnancy. It is still important to celebrate the sanctity of human life in January as we raise awareness, pray that abortions would stop, and offer life giving services to women and men facing unplanned pregnancies! Churches all across the nation still celebrate this holiday every January on the Sunday closest to the 22nd.

This Year 2024

Care Net is excited to host this free event every year. We look forward to seeing you there!
